ARQIS is once again one of Germany’s recommendable commercial law firms regularly presented by the news magazine Focus in a special edition.

ARQIS was awarded as Top Commercial Law Firm 2017 in the fields of M&A and labour law.

The M&A team around Andreas Dietl, Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze, Prof. Dr. Christoph von Einem and Dr. Shigeo Yamaguchi Their team regularly advises on restructuring measures, cross border mergers and acquisitions, public take overs and joint ventures. In the last months the transactional practice was involved in important deals, e.g. for nursing home operator Alloheim and CRH cement group. The lawyers of ARQIS also accompanied pet food producer Terra Canis during the entry of Nestlé Deutschland AG and Fit Reisen on the acquisition of the business operation of kurz-mal-weg.de which had belonged to the insolvent UNISTER group.

The labour law team around Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier regularly advises companies, institutions and executives in all questions of individual and collective labour law in court as well as out of court. Another key aspect is the advice with regard to employee’s data protection. The practice has recently been nominated for the “JUVE Awards 2017” in the category “Law Firm of the Year for Labour Law”.

The Focus Magazine publishing house commissioned the market research company Statista in Hamburg to research the top commercial law firms in Germany for a total of 24 fields of law. Assessment parameters included recommendations by competitors in other law firms as well as employees in legal departments of companies.
