Munich has always been the second most important location in Germany for business with Japan, besides Düsseldorf. The importance has been increasing for years, especially automotive and electronics companies are more and more settling in the city and the surrounding area. In southern Germany, the most important customers of Japanese companies are often located.
Dillmann began her career in 2010 at the ARQIS Japan Desk in Düsseldorf. The Japan Desk, led by Düsseldorf based partner Dr. Shigeo Yamaguchi, is one of the leading practices for advising Japanese companies on their M&A activities in Germany. Under the responsibility of Dillmann, the expansion to Munich took place in 2015. Within a very short period of time, the firm has developed a leading practice for advising Japanese companies in the Munich market. In 2016, Dillmann was appointed partner.
