ARQIS advises ITOCHU Corporation on management buyout

ARQIS has advised ITOCHU Corporation on the sale of its subsidiary I.C. Autohandel Beteiligungen GmbH (ICAB) to CT Tewes GmbH. The Japanese trading company ITOCHU Corporation, which has been investing in the German car trading landscape since the 1990s, has now sold its shares in its subsidiary I.C. Autohandel Beteiligungen GmbH (ICAB). The ICAB Group is a German holding company for automobile trade consisting of four subsidiaries, Franz Pohl GmbH, Autohaus Meklenborg Vertriebs GmbH, I.C. Autohandel Rheinland GmbH and A&S Auto Service GmbH, which operate a total of six car dealerships in Düsseldorf, Krefeld, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin. Managing Director of the new company CT Tewes GmbH based in Düsseldorf is Thomas Paul Tewes, former CFO of the ICAB Group.
