ARQIS has advised the existing investors on the Series A financing round of the ice cream start-up NOMOO, a brand of NRDS GmbH. Dr. Giesen Family Office and the existing investors, consisting of the three venture capital providers Quest Solutions GmbH, Siltho Research GmbH and AM1 Ventures GmbH, participated.

The Cologne-based start-up NRDS GmbH offers vegan ice cream made from natural ingredients under the NOMOO brand. After growing the brand by 100% in 2020, further strong growth is planned for 2021, as well as expansion into Austria and Switzerland. The startup was founded in 2018 by Jan Grabow and Rebecca Göckel and is now listed in over 1,500 German food retail markets.

A team led by ARQIS partner Dr. Mirjam Boche already successfully advised the existing investors on NOMOO’s first financing round in April 2019.
