ARQIS has advised Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc. (KKE) on its investment in NavVis GmbH by participating in a series C financing round with a total volume of approximately EUR 31.2 million together with the existing investors MIG, Target Partners, BayBG and Digital+ Partners.
avVis is a leading global platform provider of smart indoor positioning technology. Its revolutionary digital twin platform is being used by the world’s leading automotive, construction, real estate and insurance companies. Founded in 2013 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, NavVis has today over 100 partners in more than 30 countries and employs over 165 people across the globe. NavVis is headquartered in Munich and has offices in New York and Shanghai.
Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc. is a professional design and engineering firm in Japan engaged in a wide range of business activities including the structural design of buildings (man-made structures), analysis and simulation of natural and environmental phenomena (earthquake, tsunami, wind etc) and problem-solving support for the society and communities. KKE has been cooperating with NavVis and introducing services of NavVis to the Japanese market since 2015, and the companies intend to intensify their cooperation by the financial investment of KKE.
