ARQIS has advised Hey Group GmbH (Heycater!) on concluding its second round of financing. After the initial financing provided by business angels and by the food start-up investor Atlantic Food Labs (Berlin), the current investors consist of the corporate venture capital department of a German industrial enterprise and the venture capital investor 360 Capital Partners (Paris).

Hey Group GmbH runs a growing online catering platform under its brand Heycater! (www.heycater.com) in Berlin and will use the current financing for expansion into other cities and software upgrades for its online appearance.

ARQIS’ partner Dr. Daniel Wied has been working closely with the company and its founders – Therese Köhler and Sophie Radtke – and also provided advice during its first round of financing and an employee participation programme at the beginning of this year. ARQIS also provides regular advice to Hey Group GmbH in IP and commercial law matters.

Dr. Daniel Wied is based in ARQIS’ Munich office and helps to develop the well-known Venture Capital practice of Christoph von Einem. They advise start-up companies and Venture Capital investors on company formations and financing rounds from the concept development phase through to the growth phase. Apart from that, Dr. Daniel Wied is focused around mergers & acquisitions with an emphasis on private equity transactions – also in real estate contexts.
