ARQIS advises BWK on entry in CruiseVision

ARQIS has advised BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft on the acquisition of a minority stake in CruiseVision GmbH. Founded in 2009 by Christian Paulick and Mirko Berloge, the company is one of the leading technology providers of photo and video products on ocean-going cruise ships. It currently has 14 permanent employees at its location in Schenefeld near Hamburg and around 95 freelancers.
CruiseVision offers individual photo and film solutions for up to 25,000 passengers daily on worldwide operating cruise ships. CruiseVision also offers guided bicycle tours for cruise passengers and plans to extend the successful concept to new market segments. “CruiseVision has convinced us with its industry experienced and innovative management as well as the profitable and scalable business model. We will support the company constructively in the implementation of its growth strategy”, says BWK Managing Director Bernd Bergschneider.
BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft, based in Stuttgart, is one of the longest established German capital investment companies and pursues a long-term investment approach. ARQIS became active for the company for the first time through a contact of partner Dr. Christof Alexander Schneider.
