ARQIS has advised on the successful implementation of the most recent series pre A financing round of the AI start-up 4tiitoo GmbH – a Munich-based company which revolutionises computer operation through eye tracking. 4tiitoo receives 3.1 million euros from a group of investors within the framework of a capital increase. The round is led by the Austrian entrepreneur Sandra Berkson, with business angels from the BayStartUP investor network among others on board.

The fresh capital will mainly be invested into the marketing and further development of the current software platform NUIA Productivity+ and other smart eye control solutions. These will soon also make video-based communication in the “New Normal” of mobile work significantly more efficient. Due to the continuing high level of interest, the financing round will remain open for further investors until the end of November in the course of a second closing.

The solutions of 4tiitoo replace a large part of the mouse interaction at the computer workstation with natural gaze control. This increases efficiency by up to twelve percent and at the same time improves workplace ergonomics. For example, users can control links, elements and input fields directly at a glance and content can scroll automatically at their reading speed.

In addition, the AI-based, self-learning software recognises individual user behaviour after only a short period of use, makes increasingly precise predictions and actively suggests expected entries. This technology, called “Intention Prediction”, opens up a completely new dimension in the interaction with our devices, which is coming ever closer to natural communication between people.

The Munich-based ARQIS team around Prof. Dr. Christoph von Einem has been advising 4tiitoo since 2017 on financing rounds and the conclusion of convertible loan agreements with investors.
