ARQIS accompanies SE conversion of AUTODOC
18. November 2022
ARQIS labour law team has advised Autodoc AG on its conversion into a European Company (Societas Europaea/SE). The formation of the SE is an expression of the Autodoc’s continuing course of growth and internationalization in Europe.
Legal advice included the legal structuring and coordination of the multinational employee participation procedure, which involved primary elections in the various member states and culminated in an agreement on the involvement of employees in Autodoc SE. The labour law team led by ARQIS partners Tobias Neufeld and Dr. Hendrik von Mellenthin regularly accompanies employee participation proceedings and advises on the various forms of establishing an SE.
Allen & Overy´s corporate law team advised on the change of legal form to Autodoc SE. Autodoc SE will continue to be managed in a dualistic system consisting of a management board and a supervisory board. The new legal form has no impact on the ongoing business or the company’s headquarters, which will remain in Berlin/Germany.
