ARQIS has advised the management of BHT Hygienetechnik Holding GmbH („BHT Group“), one of Germany’s leading hygiene technique provider, in connection with the sale of the company.

Acquirer is Cantel Medical Corp., a leading global company dedicated to delivering innovative infection prevention products, services and solutions. The cash purchase price amounts to approximately $60.8 million on a cash-free and debt- free basis.

The BHT Group has nearly 100 employees and a broad commercial sales and service organization as well as manufacturing and engineering, R&D and associated support functions to drive the business. For the trailing twelve months ending May 31, 2017, BHT Group reported revenues of $24.5 million.

ARQIS has advised the management of BHT for the first time. Only recently a team around ARQIS partner Dr. Lars Laeger advised the management of the Avedo Group, one of Germany’s leading dialogue marketing specialists, during the sale of the company to the media company Ströer.
