ARQIS has advised the start-up macandoo GmbH, a producer of Bavarian barbecue sauces with headquarter in Munich, on concluding its second round of financing for a total amount of EUR 525,000 with a private investor.

In 2012 macandoo launched its brand “BBQUE”. With a selection of four unique Bavarian barbecue sauces “BBQUE” stands out from competitors in terms of taste, quality and design. Since 2013, the products have been sold via all known large German retailers and online.

Compared with 2013, the company’s sales increased by 120 % in 2014. macandoo targets on a turnover of EUR 900,000 in 2015 and plans to sell more than 300,000 bottles of Bavarian barbecue sauce within Germany and the neighbouring countries.
