ARQIS advises Tabuchi Electric on the acquisition of Marschner

ARQIS has advised the Japanese company Tabuchi Electric Co., Ltd. (“Tabuchi Electric”) on the acquisition of 90 % of the limited partner’s share (Kommanditanteil) in Marschner GmbH & Co. KG (“Marschner”).
Marschner is a German company located in Wehingen, Baden-Württemberg, and with a history of more than 40 years. It develops, produces and distributes high-quality transformers and power supply units for domestic and international customers.
Tabuchi Electric is a Japanese listed stock corporation and manufacturer leading in the development and production of PV solar inverters, hybrid inverters for PV and battery, power supplies for various types of equipment, a full range of transformer products for electronic applications, inductors and coils.
Tabuchi has approx. 3,500 employees and a turnover of almost EUR 400 million. In addition to the headquarters in Osaka, Japan, Tabuchi Electric is also successfully represented in China, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea and the USA.
Due to its majority participation in Marschner, which will be active under its new name “Marschner Tabuchi Electric”, Tabuchi Electric will receive direct access to the European market as base for the expansion into new markets and new business areas.
