ARQIS has advised European Klinik Holding GmbH in the takeover of the hospital Luisenkrankenhaus in Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf Local Court opened insolvency proceedings against the assets of Luisenkrankenhaus GmbH in October 2016 in self-administration. The lawyer Horst Piepenburg was appointed as custodian. European Klinik Holding will now secure all approximately 45 jobs and retain the name of the hospital.

The shareholders are very much looking forward to being able to sustainably continue and shape the business operations of Luisenkrankenhaus. Together with the employees – some of whom have worked there for many years – they want to take the clinic forward. In addition to the further developments of the prime focuses in breast surgery as well as head and throat surgery, an expansion of other existing disciplines is planned. Since 1997 Luisenkrankenhaus has been a byword for highly professional medicine and intensive care in an almost familiar atmosphere.
